Flash floods kill 12 people in northwestern Pakistan
At least 12 people were killed in Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province on Sunday due to heavy rains and flash floods, according to local reports.
News Center- At least 12 people were killed and 21 other injured in Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province due to heavy rains and flash floods, local news outlets reported on Sunday.
According to the reports, the flash floods killed six people in the district of Karak, six in Charsadda, South Waziristan and Dir Lower districts and injured one woman and her two children in the Tank district.
The flash floods caused by monsoon rains caused destruction in Kaghan and Manor valleys and washed away the bridge on the Mansehra-Naran-Jalkhad road, destroyed crops, and submerged hundreds of homes in the province.
The Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) warned on Sunday that the floods may also affect Balochistan province
