News Center- A delegation from the Peoples’ Equality and Democracy Party (DEM Party) will reportedly go to the prison island of Imrali on Wednesday to meet Kurdish leader Abdullah Öcalan.

On December 28, 2024, a delegation consisting of the Peoples' Equality and Democracy Party (DEM Party) MPs Pervin Buldan and Sırrı Süreyya Önder had a meeting with Abdullah Öcalan. After the meeting, a delegation consisting of Sırrı Süreyya Önder, Pervin Buldan and Ahmet Türk, the ousted Co-mayor of Mardin, held meetings with representatives of political parties, political prisoners and organizations.
