Dead body found under earthquake rubble in Turkey after 275 days
A dead body was found under rubble in Antakya on the 275th day of the February 6 earthquake that struck Turkey and Syria.
News Center- Two devastating earthquakes struck Turkey, Northern Kurdistan and Syria on February 6, 2023. In more than 10 cities and their villages, many houses and buildings collapsed or were destroyed in the earthquakes.
On the 275th day of the earthquake, a dead body was found under the rubble of a building in the Akevler neighborhood of Hatay’s Antakya district. The dead body has been taken to the Forensic Medicine Institution for identification.
According to the official figures, more than 50,000 people were killed and 107,204 people were injured in the earthquakes. Excavators keep removing debris from the areas affected by the earthquakes as many people still look for their missing relatives.
