Arghavan Fallahi released from Evin prison on bail
Arghavan Fallahi, one of the detainees of the “Jin, Jiyan, Azadi,” uprising, has been temporarily released from Evin prison on bail.
News Center- Arghavan Fallahi, one of the detainees of the “Jin, Jiyan, Azadi,” uprising, was temporarily released on bail on March 12 after 494 days in Evin prison.
On November 4, 2022, Arghavan Fallahi and her father, Nasrollah Fallahi, were arrested in Shiraz by security forces. Her brother Ardavan Fallahi was arrested by security forces on November 3, 2022. After one month, her father and brother were transferred to Ward 4 of Evin Prison, while she was transferred to the women’s ward of Evin Prison on charges of “waging war against God,” “corruption on Earth through extensive destructive actions,” and “assembly and collusion against internal and external national security.”
At the beginning of January 2024, the first hearing in the joint trial against Arghavan Fallahi, Nasrollah Fallahi, Ardavan Fallahi, and Parvin Mirasan, another political prisoner, was held at the 26th Branch of the Revolutionary Court of Tehran. Ardavan Fallahi was released on bail by the court.
