AANES declares mobilization against attacks on northeastern Syria

The Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (AANES) has declared mobilization against the attacks of paramilitary factions in northwestern Syria.

News Center- The Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (AANES) issued a press statement at its headquarters in Raqqa on Sunday, declaring mobilization against the attacks of paramilitary factions supported by the Turkish state in Afrin, Shahba, Aleppo and the surrounding areas.

“First of all, we strongly condemn the attacks on Syrian territories by the Turkish state and paramilitary factions supported by the Turkish state, and we salute the historic resistance of our people in Aleppo and Shahba,” the statement said, describing the attacks as a continuation of the plan that ISIS failed to achieve. The aim of the attacks is to “occupy Syria and realize the borders of the ‘Misak-ı Milli (National Pact)’. This aggression aims to occupy and divide Syria and turn it into a center of international terrorism.

‘We call on young people to stand with the Syrian Democratic Forces’

“The attacks that started in Aleppo and Hama threaten not only a certain region but the whole of Syria. Therefore, we call on all people in northeastern Syria to understand that the aim of this aggression is to destroy the hopes of the Syrian people to live in freedom and dignity, to target the Democratic Autonomous Administration project and to add new regions to Türkiye’s territory. As Arab, Kurdish, Syriac-Assyrian and Turkmen people, we must stand against this aggression by uniting. We call on young people and young women of North and East Syria to stand with the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF).”
