Şenyaşar family: The sultanates based on persecution will be destroyed!
On the 735th day of the sit-in protest for justice in front of the Urfa Courthouse, the Şenyaşar family says they will keep struggling until justice is delivered.
Riha - The sit-in protest held in front of the Urfa Courthouse by Emine Şenyaşar, whose husband and two sons were murdered in the attack carried out by the relatives and bodyguards of AKP Urfa MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız in the Suruç (Kurdish: Pirsûs) district of Urfa province on June 14, 2018, and her son Ferit Şenyaşar continues on its 735th day.
In the morning, Emine Şenyaşar and her son Ferit Şenyaşar began to hold their sit-in protest for justice in front of the courthouse by unfurling their banner reading, “Justice for the Şenyaşar family”.
Making a speech in front of the courthouse, Ferit Şenyaşar said, “Our struggle is for justice, one day, everyone will need this justice. Our struggle for justice has turned into a social cause. A massacre was committed against our family at the Suruç State Hospital. The perpetrator of this massacre is a MP of the AKP. The government and President supports this MP. Due to their support, the judicial system does not work and justice is not delivered. Elections will be held in Turkey. The AKP led by Erdoğan is losing votes across Turkey but especially in Urfa. Because the sensitive people of Şanlıurfa have embraced our struggle. We are determined, we will keep struggling in front of the Şanlıurfa Courthouse until justice is delivered.”
‘We have a just cause’
In her speech, Emine Şenyaşar said, “Judges, prosecutors and Erdoğan know that we have a just cause. It is enough, my son (Fadıl Şenyaşar) should be released from prison so that I can stay at home.”
‘Our struggle for justice continues on its 735th day with determination. The sultanates based on persecution will be destroyed,” said the social media post of the Şenyaşar family.
