11 Palestinians, including two children, have died from starvation and malnutrition over the past 24 hours, medical sources in the Gaza Strip said on Monday.

At least 300 people, including 117 children, have died from starvation and malnutrition in the enclave since October 7, 2023.

In the occupied Gaza Strip, people have no access to water, food, medical and hygiene supplies due to the ongoing Israel’s blockade. The displaced people struggle to survive in makeshift tents or overcrowded schools. Nearly 2 million of the population have been displaced many times due to Israel’s attacks and evacuation orders.

Attacks targeting civilians

At least 28 Palestinians were killed and 84 others were injured in the Gaza Strip over the last 24 hours, the Palestinian news agency WAFA reported on Monday.

A medical source at Al-Shifa Medical Complex reported that at least two citizens were killed and several others were injured in an Israeli airstrike on a house in the Al-Karama area, northwest of Gaza City.

A woman was killed and seven others were injured in an Israeli strike targeting a tent housing displaced persons in the Mawasi area of Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip, the news agency said.

According to the news agency, three Palestinians were also killed and several others were injured in an Israeli strike targeting a team providing aid in Deir al-Balah, central Gaza Strip.
